Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a detail-oriented Auditor at our Bloemfontein office. This position involves evaluating financial records and verifying compliance with applicable laws and standards. You'll play a key role in advising clients on best financial practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial audits and compile audit evidence and documentation.
• Review compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Identify and communicate significant audit issues with stakeholders.
• Document findings and prepare comprehensive audit working papers.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss audit results.
• Develop and adjust audit plans as needed.
• Work towards continuous improvement of audit processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• CA(SA) qualification preferred or pursuing certification

Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant auditing experience

Technical Skills

• Taxation
• Accounting Software

Soft Skills

Certifications

• ACCA certification
• CIMA certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of financial risk management: Understanding of risk assessment and management practices in finance.
