Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Planner to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to develop tailored financial plans that align with their goals. You will analyse their financial situation, provide investment advice, and recommend strategies for wealth accumulation and management. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in financial planning, showcasing a proven ability to guide clients through complex financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend appropriate investment products based on clients’ financial goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries.
• Engage in continuous education to stay informed about financial products and markets.
• Collaborate with colleagues for cross-selling relevant services.
• Maintain thorough client records to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Host seminars and workshops to educate clients and prospects on financial topics.
• Contribute to the development of new financial planning tools and resources.
• Enhance the firm’s presence in the market through networking and community involvement.
• Assess changes in legislation that may affect clients’ financial plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business
• Postgraduate qualifications in Financial Planning would be a bonus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a client-facing financial role
