Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our exceptional team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with medical procedures, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health status and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Support healthcare teams in the management of patient cases.
• Provide compassionate care focusing on patients' emotional and physical needs.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient conditions and respond to care needs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Ensure adherence to nursing best practices and standards.
• Engage in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
• Mentor and train nursing students and new staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Specialization in Critical Care Nursing is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting

• Patient Care Management

• Time Management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Certification in Pediatric Nursing: Specialized certification in pediatric nursing is a plus.
