Veterinarian

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will diagnose and treat a variety of animal health issues, perform surgical procedures, and work closely with pet owners to promote the health and well-being of their animals. Responsibilities

• Diagnose conditions and illnesses in pets and livestock.
• Conduct routine surgeries and emergency procedures.
• Offer advice on nutrition and behavioral issues.
• Keep up-to-date with veterinary practices and medical advancements.
• Establish trusting relationships with animal owners.
• Participate in public health initiatives related to animals.
• Train and mentor junior staff and interns as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Additional certifications or specializations are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian
