Landfill Gas Systems Monitor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Landfill Gas Systems Monitor to oversee the operation and maintenance of landfill gas extraction systems. In this role, you will ensure compliance with environmental regulations and optimize system performance to support sustainable waste management practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on gas collection systems.
• Utilize gas monitoring equipment to assess system functionality.
• Work closely with the Environmental Manager to update compliance procedures.
• Develop and implement improvements to enhance gas collection efficiency.
• Train new staff members on equipment operation and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in waste management or environmental monitoring

• Gas monitoring systems
• Data analysis and reporting

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
