Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will assist with various administrative tasks, perform legal research, and maintain case files. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare legal correspondence and documents for filing.
  • Assist in the discovery process, including document collection and review.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Track deadlines and manage case-related tasks effectively.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including court personnel.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Paralegal or Law-related qualification
  • Degree in Law is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in case management systems is a plus
