Job Description

As an Inclusion Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing individualized education plans for students with diverse needs. This position requires collaboration with general education teachers to promote inclusivity in the classroom, ensuring that every student has the support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement tailored educational programs for students with special needs.
• Work alongside teaching staff to ensure all students are included.
• Evaluate and track progress for each student, adjusting plans accordingly.
• Lead training sessions on inclusivity for your colleagues.
• Provide encouragement and support to students and their families.
• Integrate assistive technology into the classroom as needed.
• Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Conduct individual and group assessments to inform instructional strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Special Education is a plus

Experience

• Experience working specifically with students with disabilities.

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Knowledge of UDL principles to create accessible learning environments.
