Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee and enhance our supply chain operations in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory control, and logistics to ensure smooth operation and optimal distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to develop strategies that drive efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning of supply chain operations.
  • Manage day-to-day procurement and logistics functions.
  • Develop effective partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Use data analysis to drive decision-making in supply chain management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and control procedures.
  • Conduct training for team members on best supply chain practices.
  • Facilitate communication between various departments.
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate supply chain challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Management
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
