Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance. This role is pivotal in supporting our organization's goals and enhancing employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the recruitment cycle from job description creation to selection.
  • Drive organizational development initiatives and performance management.
  • Provide support for employee relations and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage training needs assessments and develop appropriate programs.
  • Ensure adherence to HR best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Facilitate and promote an inclusive workplace environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee wellness programs.
  • Collect and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Coordinate employee surveys to gauge satisfaction and engagement levels.
  • Participate in succession planning and talent management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • HR Management qualifications preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR role
