Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee our logistics operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain processes and have a track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and refine supply chain processes for superior efficiency.
• Establish and maintain relationships with freight carriers and suppliers.
• Manage budgets and forecasts for the supply chain department.
• Implement technologies that streamline supply chain processes.
• Evaluate supply chain operations and performance regularly.
• Train staff on best practices in supply chain management.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on inventory levels and forecasting.
• Identify potential areas for cost savings and process efficiencies.
• Ensure exemplary customer service in supply chain operations.
• Participate in strategic planning to align supply chain with overall business objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
• Master’s in Business Administration is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in a managerial role within supply chain

Certifications

• Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
