Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical status and develop customized rehabilitation plans.
• Teach patients exercises to improve mobility and strength in a safe manner.
• Track and report patients’ progress and provide feedback to the clinical team.
• Advise patients on lifestyle changes that can enhance their recovery.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the rehabilitation department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Advanced certifications in specialized therapy areas are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred

• Certified in Dry Needling
• Sports Physical Therapy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
