We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team in Durban. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services including bathing, trimming, and styling pets, while ensuring a safe and clean environment for them.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed grooming services to enhance pet appearance.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for both pets and team members.
• Engage with pet owners to build rapport and trust.
• Provide recommendations on products for pet care.
• Work collaboratively with the grooming team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal grooming training preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' professional grooming experience

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Usage
• Animal Health Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Customer Service Orientation
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in pet behavior or training: Knowledge of pet behavior to enhance the grooming experience.
• Experience with special needs pets: Ability to cater to the needs of pets requiring additional care.
