Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Timing Device Assembler to join our Johannesburg facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in assembling precision instruments, ensuring that all specifications and quality standards are met. You will play a pivotal role in the assembly process, contributing to the efficiency and success of our production line.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that stones are placed on pallets according to company specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and equipment used in the assembly process.
• Conduct quality inspections on assembled devices to verify adherence to standards.
• Participate in training for new assembly techniques and safety practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on new products and assembly procedures.
• Assist with inventory control and parts organization.
• Document assembly processes and results for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate any issues or concerns related to the assembly process promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
