Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vertical Contour Band-Saw Operator to join our dynamic production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the vertical contour band-saw, ensuring all products are cut accurately and to the required specifications. This role plays a crucial part in our production process, demanding precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate vertical contour band-saw machinery with precision.
• Set up and adjust machine settings based on job specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Document production processes and machine maintenance.
• Assist in training new team members on machinery use and safety.
• Participate in team meetings to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Operational Knowledge of Band-Saws
• Electrical Knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
