Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves designing and implementing mechanical systems, ensuring project specifications and quality standards are met while supporting a variety of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles, as well as hands-on experience in mechanical design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing designs for improvements and efficiency.
• Prepare reports and presentations on design processes.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures for mechanical systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the mechanical engineering field

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
