Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems to provide safe and economical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate designs.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Conduct site visits for inspections and to maintain project quality.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Assist in the management of project timelines and budgets.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and draughtspeople.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for construction.
• Develop and implement design calculations.
• Review and approve design plans before submission.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Registration (PrEng) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in structural design
