We are seeking a skilled Actuary to join our dynamic team in Sandton. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating financial risks using mathematical and statistical methods. As an Actuary, you'll contribute to the development and evaluation of our insurance products, provide advice on risk management, and help shape the future of our services in the insurance industry. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyse financial risks related to insurance products.
• Develop pricing models to determine premiums and assess profitability.
• Prepare reports that communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with underwriting and product development teams.
• Use statistical software to assess risk factors and predict trends.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management strategies.
• Conduct scenario analyses and stress testing.
• Monitor and report on emerging risks to the business.
• Update and refine actuarial models based on latest data and trends.
• Participate in meetings to discuss risk strategies and insights.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science or Finance is advantageous
• Additional certifications (e.g., CFA) will be a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience.
