Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing health programs that promote community wellness, disease prevention, and health education. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and outreach strategies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement vaccination campaigns and health screenings.
• Advocate for public health resources and funding.
• Oversee public health education initiatives.
• Analyze public health data to track program success.
• Support emergency response related to public health threats.
• Engage with citizens to encourage active participation in health programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in public health initiatives

• Health Program Management

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)
• Registered Nurse License (if applicable)
