Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and passionate travel agent to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you'll design and personalize travel plans, ensuring each client’s journey is unforgettable. Your strong customer service skills combined with a love for travel will be key in creating exceptional travel experiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients from initial consultation to post-travel.
• Utilize travel booking systems to finalize reservations accurately.
• Enhance client retention by ensuring the highest level of service.
• Collect client feedback and implement improvements based on their experiences.
• Develop a network of contacts in the travel industry to expand service offerings.
• Produce reports on bookings and sales for management review.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Travel Management or Hospitality is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in travel consulting or sales roles.

Technical Skills

• GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre)
• Social Media Tools

Soft Skills

• Sales orientation
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with travel insurance policies: Experience in advising clients on travel insurance options.
