Job Description

Join us as a Customs Entry Clerk, where you will play a vital role in overseeing customs documentation for our logistics operations. This position requires someone with solid organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare customs declarations and manage import/export documentation.
  • Liaise with customs authorities on regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct research on applicable tariffs and duties.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve any customs clearance delays.
  • Develop and update internal customs compliance manuals.
  • Support and train junior staff on customs procedures.
  • Analyze customs data for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in supply chain optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on regulatory matters.
  • Maintain relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate
  • Degree in Customs Management or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in customs clearance and logistics
