Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our logistics team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain operations and be able to analyze data to improve efficiency. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, optimizing processes, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate data analytics to forecast demand and supply.
• Track and resolve supply chain disruptions.
• Conduct market research to assess supplier performance.
• Support the development of supply chain policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Management Software
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SAP or Oracle: Knowledge of SAP or Oracle supply chain modules is a plus.
• Familiarity with demand forecasting techniques: Understanding of methods for demand forecasting in supply chains.
