Job Description

We are on the hunt for a skilled Power Systems Planner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive experience with power systems analysis to enhance our project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of power system planning tools.
• Analyze data related to power consumption and forecasting.
• Work closely with regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Coordinate with external consultants and suppliers as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and technical aspects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in power systems planning

• Power Distribution System Design
