Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in mechanical design and analysis. This role involves collaborating on various projects, ensuring designs meet industry standards, and optimizing mechanical systems for performance efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize existing mechanical systems for efficiency.
  • Develop technical specifications and procurement documentation.
  • Lead and participate in design review meetings.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
  • Research and implement new technologies to improve processes.
  • Assess the environmental impact of designs and advise on sustainability practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience
  • 5+ years of practical experience in a relevant field
