Job Description

We are in search of a Loss Prevention Manager who will oversee the implementation of strategies aimed at minimizing loss in our retail operations. The role entails conducting risk assessments, providing training to staff on loss prevention techniques, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a risk management framework for the organization.
  • Lead investigations into theft, fraud, or policy violations.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
  • Prepare and present reports on loss prevention metrics to senior management.
  • Enhance store security protocols in collaboration with external security firms.
  • Conduct loss prevention training for new hires and ongoing refresher sessions for current employees.
  • Stay abreast of legal and regulatory compliance related to loss prevention.
  • Develop crime trend analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration among staff in loss prevention initiatives.
  • Implement technology solutions to improve loss prevention outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Loss Prevention, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Loss Prevention Professional) are advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in loss prevention or security management
