Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Geoscientist to join our team in Mbombela. If you have a strong background in geological research and field studies, you will play a key role in investigating earth materials, evaluating geological data, and contributing to various environmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead field surveys, providing mentorship to junior staff.
• Evaluate project sites for geological hazards and risks.
• Research geological conditions for various projects.
• Assist with policy development related to geosciences and sustainability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Environmental Science
• Higher degree in Geosciences is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in geology or environmental consulting

Technical Skills

• Field Research
• Modeling and Simulation Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT) Certification
• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
