Job Description

Join our team as an Architectural Designer, where you will contribute to a variety of exciting projects in Cape Town. We are looking for an individual with a strong design flair and technical skills to take our architectural visions from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative design concepts that align with project objectives.
• Utilize 3D modeling software to bring designs to life.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Ensure that all designs are compliant with environmental standards and building codes.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports and presentations.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Creative thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Professional Architect (RPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with sustainable design practices: Knowledge of energy-efficient design techniques and sustainability principles.
• Familiarity with local Cape Town regulations: Understanding of laws and codes specific to the Cape Town region.
