Job Description

As an Architect within our company, you will play a crucial role in crafting innovative design solutions that resonate with our clients' aspirations. Based in Cape Town, you will engage in full life-cycle project management, ensuring that every design not only stands out aesthetically but also meets budgetary and scheduling constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative design solutions tailored to client needs and environmental factors.
  • Draft and edit architectural drawings using CAD software.
  • Liaise with contractors and clients to manage the project's practical aspects.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential challenges during the project.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends and building advances.
  • Ensure designs comply with safety regulations and zoning laws.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent
  • Master's degree in Urban Design is a plus
Experience
  • 4-6 years experience with emphasis on urban projects
Technical Skills
  • Revit
  • Adobe Creative Suite
Soft Skills
  • Project Management
  • Negotiation
Certifications
  • SACAP Registered Professional Architect
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
