Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role focuses on developing and executing health programs, analyzing public health data, and promoting wellness across the community.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate health programs aimed at disease prevention.
  • Conduct assessments to identify public health concerns.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary health projects.
  • Educate the community on health risks and preventative measures.
  • Evaluate public health policies and recommend improvements.
  • Facilitate training for health workers and community leaders.
  • Engage in advocacy efforts for public health awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Postgraduate diploma in Public Health is an advantage
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in public health programs
