Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite insurance risks for various types of insurance policies.
• Work together with clients to provide tailored insurance solutions.
• Monitor emerging risks and trends affecting the insurance landscape.
• Utilize analytics tools to enhance decision-making processes.
• Consult with other departments to leverage their expertise when needed.
• Deliver training to junior underwriters as needed.
• Remain up-to-date with insurance laws and regulations.
• Prepare and present underwriting reports and recommendations.
• Support the development of new products and pricing strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field
• Advanced certifications in underwriting will be an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with an emphasis on underwriting
