Job Description

As a General Practitioner in Bloemfontein, you will be at the forefront of patient care, managing a diverse range of health issues. This role requires a compassionate approach to treatment, thorough evaluations, and a commitment to ongoing patient education regarding their health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Provide vaccinations and preventive care to patients.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in complex cases.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic lab tests and imaging.
  • Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in treatment plans.
  • Attend medical conferences to stay updated with the latest practices.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB degree from an accredited medical school
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in General Practice
