Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. This role involves providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues, be empathetic, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychological advice and support.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and refine therapy approaches.
• Advise on treatment options and resources for clients.
• Develop and implement community outreach programs.
• Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders on mental health initiatives.
• Participate in case consultations and peer reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or related field
• HPCSA Registration

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical settings

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Group Therapy Facilitation

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in family therapy: Background in delivering family therapy sessions.
• Knowledge of mindfulness practices: Familiarity with mindfulness techniques and therapies.
