Prepress Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Prepress Technician, where your expertise will directly impact the quality of our printed materials. You will be responsible for preflighting files, managing print setups, and conducting quality checks to guarantee top-notch results.

Responsibilities

• Set up prepress equipment for jobs and perform adjustments as needed.
• Review digital files for color accuracy and quality before production.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure timely job completion.
• Identify and resolve issues during the printing process.
• Maintain communication with clients regarding job specifications.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Operate computer software related to print processes.
• Assist with inventory management of prepress supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance on all prepress equipment.
• Stay informed about new technologies and techniques in prepress production.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Higher education in graphic design or a related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in digital printing or prepress work

Technical Skills

• Color Management

Certifications

• Certified Print Production Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
