Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at our Cape Town facility, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating clients with a wide range of mental health issues. This position requires strong therapeutic skills and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care. Your experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy and individual counseling will be essential as you guide clients through their mental wellness journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Use evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT.
  • Maintain client records and treatment documentation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care.
  • Educate clients and families on mental health issues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Assist in research initiatives related to mental health treatments.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or similar
  • PhD in Psychology or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical psychology experience
