Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for junior nursing staff.
• Conduct patient education and health promotion activities.
• Assist in care coordination and discharge planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Advanced Nursing Certification preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting

• Patient education

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR): Comfortable using digital patient management systems.
