Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to lead impactful environmental projects in Cape Town. Your role will involve working closely with our engineering and project teams to ensure compliance with environmental standards and the development of eco-friendly initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of sustainable solutions for various projects.
• Analyze environmental data and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure environmental compliance.
• Attend site inspections and monitor construction practices.
• Organise workshops and training sessions on environmental awareness.
• Liaise with government agencies on environmental regulations and permits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or consulting

Technical Skills

• Environmental Impact Assessment
• Sustainable Design Practices

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Engineer (CEE)
• ISO 14001 Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
