We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will focus on developing and implementing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges, ensuring compliance with regulations and researching innovative methods to protect our natural resources. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders and conducting site assessments to evaluate environmental impacts.

Responsibilities

• Assess the environmental impacts of proposed projects.
• Advise clients on best environmental practices.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Review technical reports and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with other professionals, such as scientists and surveyors.
• Lead workshops on sustainability and environmental management.
• Support client compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science
• Additional certifications in Environmental Management are desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting

Technical Skills

• Environmental Modeling Software
• Sustainability Reporting

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Auditor
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
