Job Description

As a Meat Wrapper, you'll be essential in preparing and packaging meat products to meet high-quality standards. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that meat is handled safely and to specification.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh and label meat products for sale.
• Ensure accurate product storage and display.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in the workspace.
• Monitor product freshness and notify management of inventory issues.
• Engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Participate in regular team training and safety meetings.
• Assist with the administrative tasks associated with inventory management.
• Support the overall cleanliness of the work area.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 certificate or equivalent
• Food safety certificate

Experience

• Previous experience in a retail or food-related industry is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Experience in meat preparation and packaging

Soft Skills

• Customer service skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
