Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will engage in the design, analysis, and management of various structural projects, ensuring they meet regulatory standards. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for structural elements in various projects.
  • Engage in value engineering efforts to optimize designs.
  • Perform calculations and analyses to determine structural integrity.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure alignment with designs.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and project teams.
  • Contribute to business development efforts through proposals and presentations.
  • Support quality control measures throughout the engineering process.
  • Ensure all designs meet sustainability requirements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in structural design

  • SAP2000
