Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for assessing patients and developing personalised rehabilitation plans. This role is crucial in helping patients regain mobility and manage pain through therapeutic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate physiotherapy interventions.
• Perform therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery and pain management.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes.
• Educate patients on prevention strategies to avoid further injuries.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care enhancements.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Additional qualifications in sports physiotherapy are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in physiotherapy practice preferred

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

• Experience with geriatric physiotherapy: Working knowledge with elderly patients to improve mobility.
