We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and improving mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and document mechanical systems based on client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to align on project goals.
• Evaluate and improve engineering workflows.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Participate in product lifecycle management.
• Develop and oversee testing procedures for new products.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during product launches.
• Ensure proper documentation for all projects.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• PDM Software

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
