Job Description

We are seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and experience in project management. You will work closely with our design team to develop innovative engineering solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative mechanical solutions to meet client needs.
• Assist in the selection of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Perform simulations and modeling to predict system performance.
• Review design specifications and recommend improvements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Prepare project documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Advanced degrees or certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in HVAC Design: Understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
