Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in Cape Town. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring patient health, providing direct care, and educating patients and their families about health conditions and care plans. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting patient well-being and recovery through attentive care and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing assessments and create care strategies.
  • Deliver compassionate bedside care to patients.
  • Coordinate with social workers and other professionals as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
  • Promote adherence to treatment plans.
  • Establish rapport and trust with patients and families.
  • Support patients through difficult diagnoses and treatments.
  • Engage in clinical supervision and evaluations.
  • Stay updated on best practices in nursing care.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
  • HPCSA registration is essential
Experience
  • 3+ years in a clinical nursing setting.
