Job Description

We are seeking a Machine Learning Developer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing machine learning models and be proficient in programming languages such as Python or R. You will play a key role in designing and implementing AI solutions that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities

• Implement and test new machine learning algorithms.
• Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure smooth data access.
• Analyze model performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Drive best practices in model development and deployment.
• Contribute to technical documentation and user guides.
• Engage in problem-solving sessions to address challenges in data science projects.
• Assist in grant writing and project proposals for upcoming AI initiatives.
• Contribute innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Data Science preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning and algorithm development
