Job Description

As a Health Education Specialist, you will develop and implement educational programs aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle choices within the community. This role involves conducting needs assessments, creating communication materials, and collaborating with diverse community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and implementation of health education strategies tailored to diverse communities.
• Gather and analyze data to support health program planning and assessment.
• Design educational workshops and training sessions for community health workers.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to align health education efforts.
• Ensure accessibility of health materials for various populations.
• Track and report on program outcomes and recommend best practices.
• Foster relationships with local organizations to enhance cooperation on health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Education or Public Health
• Master's degree in Public Health preferred

Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in similar roles focused on community health education
