Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer who is passionate about contributing to infrastructure development. Your role will involve project management, cost estimation, and liaising with various stakeholders to bring engineering projects to fruition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction and operation of civil engineering projects.
• Analyze data and prepare operational reports based on project performance.
• Work with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
• Create and maintain project documentation including plans and specifications.
• Explore innovative engineering practices that improve project outcomes.
• Monitor environmental performance and sustainability considerations during project implementation.
• Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans for projects.
• Ensure all project variations are documented and reported accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Registered Engineer with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa)

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
