Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer, you will take part in all phases of project planning and execution. From site assessments to project design and execution, your role will involve ensuring compliance with local regulations while facilitating optimum project delivery. You will report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyze data to guide project design and implementation.
• Coordinate with various civil engineering professionals to achieve project objectives.
• Present project proposals and updates to clients and senior management.
• Guide contractors in adhering to design specifications and quality controls.
• Drive initiatives for sustainable engineering practices across projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Road Design Software
• Structural Engineering Principles

Certifications

• SACPCMP Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
