Job Description

We are seeking skilled Forging Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in operating forging machines and a solid understanding of metal and plastic fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forging machines while adhering to production schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct routine checks and adjustments to the machinery.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Document production output and perform necessary reporting.
• Support maintenance efforts and assist with machine repairs as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report hazards or incidents.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to resolve any product discrepancies.
• Contribute to team meetings and provide feedback on operations.
• Adjust machine settings based on specifications to maintain product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade certification is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector

Languages

• English: Fluent
