We're on the lookout for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing algorithms and models to solve complex problems. You will work alongside data scientists and software engineers to implement innovative AI solutions that drive results.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain machine learning infrastructure.
• Engage in data mining and statistical analysis to extract useful business insights.
• Implement and maintain testing frameworks for model validation.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the deployment of AI solutions.
• Contribute to open-source projects and internal tooling.
• Mentor junior team members and provide training where required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in machine learning, advanced data analytics, or relevant fields
