We are seeking an Observer to monitor and document various geological events and activities. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to report accurately on findings.
Responsibilities
Document geological processes and findings in detailed reports.
Collaborate with researchers to interpret observations accurately.
Engage in fieldwork to support evidence gathering and documentation.
Identify and recommend areas for further investigation.
Assist in maintaining records and documentation accuracy.
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols during field activities.
Attend training sessions for continuous skill development.
Complete any other tasks directed by management.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related discipline is essential
Experience
2+ years of experience in geological observation or related work
Technical Skills
Experience with data analysis tools
Camera and recording equipment operation
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Experience in a multicultural environment: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse teams and settings.
