Job Description

We're seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our supply chain processes in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of logistics operations and a passion for improving efficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and collaborating closely with various teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the movement of goods in accordance with customer requirements.
• Manage documentation for shipping and receiving processes.
• Assist in negotiating rates with carriers and suppliers.
• Implement cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Identify and mitigate potential logistical issues before they escalate.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Further certifications in logistics preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination
